“The closest thing to being cared for is to care for someone else.”
― Carson McCullers

Hello, my name is Maria

Throughout my life, I have felt a personal commitment and satisfaction from helping and caring for my client in their homes. I completed my certification in Nurse Case Manager and Nursing Assistant (CNA).

Since 1996, I have had the privilege of working with and caring for amazing older adults all over Orange County. Providing personal and non-medical in-home care to my clients has been incredibly rewarding and each client felt like a member of my family. I enjoyed their company, intelligence, knowledge, and wisdom. Not a day goes by where I didn't learn something new. What drives me toward caregiving, is knowing that I am able to put a smile on my client’s face. Knowing that I played a part in their journey back to health and wellness. It is one of the most gratifying and rewarding experiences of my life.

My journey through explant surgery and healing have led me to a new chapter in my life, by using my knowledge, experience, and skills to help women speed up their surgery recovery time. And together, we are passionate and caring professionals committed to the promotion of quality post-operative in-home care.

Here I am with Gloria in 1997

I managed the care of a special client for more than 20 years.  Gloria resided in a nursing home facility in Orange County.  Over the years, we developed a bond and a friendship.  I also become incredibly close to her family.  When I took over her case, my children were in elementary school. I occasionally took my two daughter's to visit with her, and my children had a relationship that brought them all much joy. My two daughters graduated from college before she passed away.

Gloria was extremely fragile and was paralyzed.  I worked very hard to keep her safe, continually monitoring the nursing facility to take the proper steps in how she was handled.  I also scheduled the doctor and dentist appointments.

I was the patient advocate and the family's boots on the ground, providing daily nursing notes and keeping regular telephone communication with her family. It was a blessing to be able to provide love and care for Gloria G.

Teresa has worked with me for 18 years as a CNA/PCA for Golden Care Nursing Registry.  She is an experienced CNA and I offered her a position to work with my company.

Teresa assists with all our client activities of daily living, meals, and bathing. Our clients loved and adored her cheerful spirit.

I have been impressed with Teresa's compassionate, kind, and positive attitude.  She is the consummate professional, and your loved one will be in wonderful hands under her care.

During my recent breast explant and mastopexy surgery, I hired Teresa as my caregiver. She assisted me with personal care, such as bathing, dressing changes, and drain management. A true professional, Teresa succeeds in both nursing home facilities and in-home settings.
